Church of St Francis of Assisi

My husband had a heart attack in February 2006. The right muscles of his heart were all damaged. His chances of survival were slim and his heart was only functioning at 20%. He had an angioplasty done with 4 stents inserted and was miraculously given a second chance to live. It must have been our faith and tears that touched God.

The road to my husband’s recovery was tough, but God through the Holy Spirit, gave him strength and courage to hang on positively with hope. “For with God, nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

It has been seven years since my husband’s heart attack and that he is able to survive and live a normal active life, today, is a testimony of God’s mercy, compassion and great love. My husband is the walking miracle of God. We have both learnt not to take each other for granted, knowing each moment is precious and each day is a gift of God. We are very blessed and grateful.

Thank you, God.
