Church of St Francis of Assisi

I praise and thank God for his infinite love and goodness to me. I was diagnosed with cancer of the womb in April 2012. Despite surgery to remove the womb, the cancer cells had spread to the lymph nodes.  The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick gave me the strength and grace to undergo chemotherapy and radiation. The treatment was successfully completed in October 2012.  I did not suffer side effects such as nausea or vomiting nor loss of appetite. I was able to return to work at the factory in November. I still have to go for a review every three months.

Prayer and learning to trust in God helped me to think positively and to accept my illness with peace. A good friend took care of me after the operation. Many people from our church took turns to accompany me for the chemo sessions. They also supported me with prayers and financial help. The two hospitals provided financial assistance and transportation. Even the doctors were very kind and compassionate. I am grateful to them all. These are some of the miracles that God worked for me, an orphan.
