Although I am a cradle Catholic, I was rather lukewarm in my faith. About ten years ago, my search for God brought me to several mission trips and retreats. I thank God for transforming my life. Filled with joy I began to serve the church as a warden. It is in serving that I felt a strong sense of belonging to a community. I also made many new friends.
Recently I went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and encountered the biblical places where Jesus had worked miracles. Truly Jesus said: “You did not choose me, I chose you” (Jn 15:16) to go and share the Good News with others.
I also thank and praise God for the Thursdays faith formation sessions and Eucharistic Adoration on Mondays. These programs helped me to understand my faith better and I had learned various forms of prayer and scripture meditation. I now look forward to coming for daily mass.
